In June, we made a family trip to Science Museum in London to attend an organised PKU Event by Nutricia. We met one of our friends there who also has two daughters with PKU. It was great to see Ella taking an interest in Food Science. She enjoyed herself. Although Keir is still too young to understand it fully, he enjoyed himself. They all had a great day, taking part in challenges set by Nutricia. They had a go at making supplements, decorating cookies and tasting different flavours of supplement drinks.  After the event, they had a play in the water play park in the Science Museum basement and watched a bubble show. Both were a great hit.

For us, it was really interesting to learn little more about how the supplements are prepared and what happens to the blood spot tests in the labs.
